Rick Cross, Board President
After a life-changing trip to Uganda in 2008, Rick wanted to make a difference in the world. The result was founding xHope, Inc. with his wife and biggest encourager, Wendi. Rick has 6 amazing children and everything he does is for them.
Suzanne Hansen, Board Secretary
Suzanne came on board in 2016 as board secretary with a desire to minister to the poor, especially children, both here and overseas. With a life long global passion for the underprivileged and the at-risk it was a natural fit. Her other interests include crochet, yoga, natural medicine, the persecuted church and soul care. Suzanne is also a board member of a local Teen center serving local youth, a mother of 11 children and wife of Glen Hansen, an elder at Reflect church. They met at Biola University where Suzanne was considering a Masters in third world development, opera or Glen. She picked Glen and has been enjoying her honeymoon of 30+ years ever since.
Chris Thomas, Board Treasurer
Holds Bachelor’s Degree in Business specializing in Accountancy from the University of California, Sacramento. Chris has spent most of his career working with small businesses creating sound business practices, effective bookkeeping systems and tax strategies. After Graduation Chris worked with a Computer Technology firm in the Bay Area. In 2002 Chris moved to the Sacramento Area where he joined Dennis Nelson’s CPA firm providing accounting and tax services to small businesses until 2006. At that time Chris was offered a position with Dynamais a small business bookkeeping and advisory firm. In 2008 Chris driven by his passion for helping small business became the sole owner of Dynamais.
Michael Harrison – Board Member
Michael Harrison has been our large mission trip security and finance coordinator since 2011. He’s been all in from the moment Rick Cross shared his vision for xHope. He loves seeing that vision realized each time he visits. In addition to tackling the logistics of mobilizing a large group of missionaries, Michael is down in the trenches during our outreaches “He’s the dude you want to have your back.” -Brittany, Team Member. He works hard and loves his wife and three kids even harder.
Brandon Miller – Board Member
Brandon Miller is a StrengthsFinder Organizational Consultant specializing in Strengths Based Team Trainings, Retreats and Workshops. Brandon joined the xHope Board in 2016 and has brought a keen business insight to xHope. As a father of seven, Brandon understands the need to help defend the fatherless. Brandon and his wife live in Elk Grove, California.
Molech Blythe – Board Member
Molech Blythe born and raised in Pomona CA acquired a passion for Xhopemissions after connecting with his friend Rick Cross 20 years from 1996. Never forgetting where God has brought him from inspires Molech’ life to give the world what Christ has given him which is the Kingdom of God. Molech’s life scripture is Acts 20:24 But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus—the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God. He and his wife Tarez of 16 years have 3 children.
Glen Hansen – Board Member
As the father of 11 children (through his marriage to Suzanne of 30 years), Glen loves kids. He is also the teacher for 6-11 year olds at Reflect Church in Elk Grove, CA, where he also a pastor/elder. Glen brings substantial experience to xHope, having served on the boards of a number of non-profit organizations. Glen has been civil attorney for over 20 years.
Jeremiah Rose – Board Member
Jeremiah is someone who has a heart for the hurting children of the world. He’s a father of 5 beautiful children and husband to an amazing woman of God. Presently, he also serves as a board member of his local church and is very active in assisting in mission support around the world. Jeremiah is also a graduate of Northern California Bible College and also teaches classes at his local church.
Wendi Cross, Executive Director
Wendi is the love and prayers behind xHope, Inc. She has given of herself wholeheartedly to support the goals of the team. Wife to Rick, Wendi is mother to six wonderful kids, including her son that she and Rick adopted from Africa and their newest son, adopted domestically. Wendi is on the ground 2x per year at Redeemer House in Uganda to oversee and work side-by-side with our international ministries. She has a heart for missions and will bring you along if your willing?
Angelica Cross, CFK Director and Administrative Assistant
Hailed by Wendi as “the most organized person I have ever met,” Angelica fits right in with her position at xHope, Inc. as the Communications Secretary. Her ability to navigate through all the paperwork involved in running this ministry is a force to be reckoned with, and we are so glad she is on our team! Angelica is also known to many as the “better half” of Will and Angelica and mother to five incredible children.
