HOW WE DO IT
local impact
Locally, xHope is passionate about serving the most vulnerable children in our community. We are here to come alongside case managers, social workers,school employees, and agencies/organizations to support families of foster/adopt children, kinship placements, teens aging out of the foster care system, homeless and unaccompanied youth, teen parents and families experiencing economic hardship. We strive to remain responsive to ongoing, as well as changing needs and be a source of HOPE, love and support for these children.
caring for kids kits
Diaper bags, hygiene kits, backpacks, and comfort kits all contain essential items and provide a sense of immediate relief during times of need.
community closet
Community Closet offers an opportunity for children to receive NEW clothing, shoes, pajamas and undergarments. It is our HOPE that children leave the community closet feeling confident in their NEW attire.
co-op closet
Co-Op Closet provides additional support by offering gently used clothing for babies-teens. Items such as jackets and formal wear are rotated based on the season.
extracurricular + experiences
Our Extracurriculars and Experiences program connects children/teens to opportunities they would otherwise not be able to participate in. Sports fees and equipment, music lessons, camp, prom and senior year activities are just some of the options. Our HOPE is that this program not only provides financial support,but makes a meaningful impact, allowing these youth to create memories by participating in activities with their peers.
