International Impact

In Uganda, our purpose is to rescue, rehabilitate and reunify children. We partner with extended families, such as willing grandparents, to provide education and care. This reduces the financial burden and allows the family an opportunity to break the cycle of poverty.

How it works

How We Do It

EMPOWER THE YES

90% of orphans in Uganda have extended family willing to adopt them but need support. So we come alongside them and empower their YES!

CARE + EDUCATE

Through Our Redeemer House Children’s Home, we provide a safe home for orphaned and vulnerable children in need of immediate rescue. Our staff provides medical care, education, counseling, clean clothes, warm meals, and full-time care, while implementing a plan for family reunification. Our education sponsorship program allows children to be in school full-time, affording families the opportunity to work and provide a forever home for their children.

LOCAL EMPLOYMENT

Throughout our 12+ years of developing programs in Uganda, we’ve been able to employ and provide income in construction, hospitality, and education for 600+ Ugandans. Through our missions in Uganda, we are passionate about using every opportunity to provide jobs and help end the cycle of poverty.

ADDITIONAL IMPACT

- Provides University Scholarships

- 600+ jobs to local Ugandans

- Provided 150+ COVID Kits to struggling families

- Sustainable Farm + Agricultural Projects

Get Involved

  • xHope is honored to partner with loving families who are unable to afford school fees. We support some of the most hard-working and loving parents/guardians you could ever meet. Giving these children an opportunity to go to school provides HOPE AND A FUTURE. We couldn’t do it without you!

    DONATE HERE

  • Staff Sponsorships sponsor a staff member at Redeemer House or Redeemer Academy. Your monthly giving provides a career for an incredible, hard-working, passionate Ugandan who is now able to provide for their entire family.

These are not individual sponsorships but by donating to this cause, we will be able to provide employment for various individuals.

  • Guardianship sponsorships provide orphaned children a safe place to call home, a loving staff, medical care and rehabilitation services. Being a guardian sponsor means you are making it possible to keep beds open at Redeemer House, as well as, providing the resources needed for your sponsored child to have whole healing; spiritually, physically and mentally. Your contribution allows our staff to do everything it takes to work toward reunification so every child has a family.

  • Now that our farm stand is fully operational, you have the opportunity to invest in this business. Our goal is to sell milk, eggs, chicken on a stick, fresh squeezed juice and organic vegetables to our neighboring villages. We have the most fertile and beautiful 5 acres to plant, harvest, and reap the results we need to sustain our business.

The older children of Redeemer House will have the opportunity to develop a number of skills as they facilitate the day-to-day operations of the stand. As they grow in their leadership abilities, this will assist in their transition to self-sustainability. The stand will also help supplement the salary of several of our Redeemer House staff.

YOU now have an opportunity to be a part of sponsoring our farm!
